Women can get better sex and a stronger vagina with an ‘EVA’ treatment

EVA is a pain-free treatment that allows women with vaginal health difficulties to enjoy intimacy again.

When it comes to ageing, it’s (unfortunately) not just our faces that feel the effects. Many women experience changes to our vaginas, too.

Whether it be a decrease in vaginal lubrication, pain or reduced sensitivity during sex, irritation and burning, or peeing when you sneeze or laugh; many women are likely to experience any – or all – of these symptoms to some degree.

And it’s not just restricted to the older ladies – there are a lot of younger women who experience vaginal changes; some due to pregnancy, for others it’s just down to genetics. For some, it may be a case of Lichen Sclerosis, which is an autoimmune disorder that affects the tissue around the vagina and anus.

Whatever the reason, the last place that any woman likes to feel old or sore is in the one place that is supposed to make us feel sexy and feminine. Whether it’s due to embarrassment, or the belief that nothing can be done about it, this common concern is still something we don’t talk openly about.

It’s about time that we start the conversation about not only how normal and common these changes are, but the fact that there is a treatment option available that is totally pain-free, has zero recovery time, and can be done during your lunch break.

What is an EVA treatment?

The enhancer of vaginal anatomy (EVAis a gentle radio frequency laser treatment that is designed to stimulate collagen and ground substance (a necessary support component for collagen) to improve the condition of the lining of the vagina. By doing this you can reduce dryness and itching, and help to treat any pain or loss of sensation during sex.

It can also help to strengthen and tone the walls of both the vagina and urethra, which helps to reduce bladder leakage when you cough or sneeze, or even exercise.

The treatment also helps to improve the appearance of the labia and clitoris, as well as the area’s sensitivity and responsiveness (welcome back orgasm, we have missed you!).

Benefits can also include softening of scarring from tearing or episiotomies during labour, and can even help to reduce some haemorrhoids.

The treatment is done in-clinic with an internal component to it (kind of like having an internal ultrasound), followed by an external treatment. It takes about 25 minutes, and is totally painless. It is a series of four to six treatments that are done at two- to four-week intervals.

Some people will notice an improvement after the first treatment, others may notice more after the second or third. After your treatment, you can go back to normal life immediately – you can exercise, swim, jog, and even have sex. The EVA is a safe and effective treatment that can be done at any age.
