Did you know that our bodies are engineered to gain weight? It hardly seems fair that weight gain is hardwired as a survival mode to ensure we pack away the spare calories in the good times so when times get lean we ensure our survival with energy stored as fat.
Then added to the mix is emotional eating (and drinking) as well as the introduction to our diet of convenience food – that’s of high calories but designed to make us want to come back for more!
But did you also know that we can take control back from genetics by using our bodies ‘survival mode’ to help us drop kilos of fat stores, without tapping into precious muscle, with a secret weapon, HCG hormone?
HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is no magic concoction, but a hormone that we all have in our bodies (even you, chaps) that increases when we get pregnant. It’s the hormone that tells our body HOW to burn up stored energy by taking it from our fat stores. We can make nature work in our favour to lose weight.
I’ve heard of HCG but it doesn’t work, does it?
There are many websites that you can buy ‘over the counter’ HCG drops from that have given weight loss with the HCG hormone bad press. The lack of results are not because of the HCG itself, but by the way it has been administered. The HCG you can buy online comes in a drop form. You are told to put the drops under your tongue and then given a restricted calorie diet. HCG can’t be absorbed properly orally and so all that’s happening is you lose weight because you are restricting calories, but you end up either giving up, because you are so darn hungry, or if by sheer will-power you manage to stick it out, you end up losing muscle instead of fat as your body goes into starvation mode. Then as soon as you go back to normal eating, you guessed it, your body retaliates by storing calories like there is no tomorrow (because it really thinks there isn’t!)
Safe, comfortable weight loss with HCG
To administer HCG properly it needs to be injected (through a very very tiny needle, I promise). When HCG is taken this way you ensure your body is actually absorbing it and putting it to use. Though you go on a restricted calorie diet for a few weeks (which we help you plan) you don’t feel hungry as your body is getting enough energy from your own fat stores! Once you’ve finished the restricted calorie part your body does not retaliate as it didn’t even know it was being starved!
Support through the process
We ‘measure’ our clients using VLA testing (Vitality, Longevity & Healthy Ageing.) We can see accurate measures of fat, water and muscle with which to set as your start point, then we follow it up with another VLA test at the end of your HCG programme.
We don’t recommend using scales! The number you see on the scales is not always reflective of how much fat you’ve lost. It can be thrown out by how much water you retain and also by how much muscle you’ve lost.
We also encourage measuring your body in centimetres or inches. That is, how many centimetres have you lost around your waist, legs, and even arms. Also have a pair of ‘goal pants’, for example, to use as a measuring tool at home.
You’ll also receive support in the way of food ideas and supervision for your first injection by a trained injector to make sure it’s as easy and painless as possible. All things that a website won’t give you.
