Plastic surgery without the surgery

Imagine getting the results from plastic surgery without ever having to go under the knife at all… Now you can…

With new treatments allowing cosmetic professionals to lift, shape and tighten without a scalpel, men and women wishing to enhance their look can receive treatment without surgery.

Undergoing surgery can pose many concerns; not only is it expensive and time consuming but it also carries risks.

Is a surgical nose job worth the money?

Rhinoplasty, better known as a nose job, is the second most popular cosmetic surgery in the world with many people wanting small adjustments to the look of their nose. This surgery can prove to be extremely expensive, with the total cost often exceeding $15 000. The breakdown looks like this:

  • Surgeon fee – Approximately $ 5,000 – $ 15, 000
  • Anaesthetist fee – Approximately $1200
  • Hospital costs – Approximately $1500

Depending where you get your nose job, you could be paying up to $15 000 for a procedure that could have been done for far less and without surgery.

Introducing non-surgical rhinoplasty…

Non-surgical nose jobs use a needle instead of a scalpel; at GMC Cosmedical we use dermal fillers to correct noses without surgery. The dermal fillers are injected into the nose to soften, shape and straighten a patient’s nose without resorting to invasive surgery. Bumps and irregularities that are on the bridge of the nose and from side to side that impact the symmetry of the nose (making the nose appear crooked or bent to one side) can be treated with dermal fillers. These injections can also be used to accentuate the tip of the nose making it look more rounded or bulbous. Sometimes the nostrils may be too ‘open’ or high, displaying too much of the nasal cavity, which can be corrected with dermal fillers.

Real people, real results…

As you can see patient A has a bump on the top of her nose, after injecting the dermal fillers we were able smooth out the top of the nose, flattening the bump on the top.

Patient B’s nose appeared crooked and had a bump on the top; with the use of fillers we were able to smooth the bridge for a fuller, more symmetrical look. We were also able to make the nose appear straighter with the use of fillers around the nostrils.

Imagine getting a full facelift without having to undergo surgery…

At GMC Cosmedical we use a procedure called threading as an alternative nonsurgical solution to a facelift. The threads or sutures have numerous tiny notches cut along their length and these act as tiny barbs, or anchors, so that when inserted under the skin they anchor it along the length of suture threads where they are placed. The thread is passed through the needle which is then removed leaving behind the thread that anchors the tissues in their new position. Check out the successful results in our gallery:

Why would you choose surgery anymore?

Surgical cosmetic treatments are becoming outdated with the advancement of less invasive treatments. They are less time consuming, require less recovery and traditionally cost less. While some changes may require surgical treatment, we encourage anyone considering surgery to visit our Sydney clinics for a consultation to see if a less invasive solution could be suited to you.
