Dr George M Calfas is a highly qualified cosmetic and laser physician with more than thirty years’ experience in the field of cosmetic medicine in Australia. As the founder and principal of the landmark GMC Cosmedical Clinics at Randwick and Narellan, Dr Calfas continues to evolve and deliver a diverse range of surgical and non-surgical, incisional and non-incisional face, neck and body procedures.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of New South Wales and obtained postgraduate qualifications in Physical Medicine from the University of Sydney and Clinical Dermatology from the University of Wales (UK).
Dr Calfas is a Senior Fellow and founding member of the Cosmetic Physician’s College of Australasia and the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgeons for which he is a mentor within its Clinical Training Program and a recently elected member of its Medical Board. Through these roles, Dr Calfas is responsible for shaping the next generation of cosmetic physicians and surgeons.
Dedicated to the refinement of cosmetic medicine Dr Calfas regularly attends international congresses to stay abreast of new technology and procedures. He is also a sought-after guest speaker and regularly conducts training workshops both nationally and internationally.
With his considerable expertise in cosmetic medicine, Dr Calfas is branching into the emerging medical and cosmetic field of regenerative medicine. By adopting the latest techniques and technologies of fat-derived Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF), Dr Calfas is able to assist patients with cosmetic problems as well as alleviating pain related to arthritis.

Madeline is an Integrative Medicine Practitioner and a highly experienced certified Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. With over 20 years of experience in her field, she is dedicated to furthering her knowledge and expertise in the field of Anti-ageing and Integrative Medicine. Madeline is also an Injector and Laser trainer to other Nurses and Doctors.
With Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Nursing, Naturopathy, Nutrition and Herbal Medicine, Madeline is in a truly unique position to be able to understand how both Western and Complementary Medicines can be combined to offer her patients an Integrative approach, thereby achieving the highest quality outcomes for her patients. She is also a certified A5M practitioner with the Australasian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine, and a member of AIMA, the Australasian Integrative Medicine Association.
In 2016, Madeline was recognised by the International Nurses Association as a ‘Top
Nurse’ in the Aesthetic Industry.
Madeline understands that being an Integrative Practitioner means understanding
that the human body is more than just a collection of systems, symptoms and
illnesses. It is about looking at the body as a whole and incorporating all the pieces
of the puzzle to see the big picture. She believes that this is the future of Medicine,
and is committed whole-heartedly to promoting this practice.

Consultant Podiatric Surgeon UK

With over thirteen years of extensive training and work in the UK Maree Marks (Podiatric Surgeon) has returned to her first home at GMC. With a keen interest in the cosmetic surgery industry, she has combined her interest and skills in foot and ankle surgery with cosmetic surgery to provide highly skilled cosmetic foot surgery services in addition to reconstructive and corrective foot and ankle surgery.
Australian born Maree began her surgical career in 2003, moving to the United Kingdom to further her qualifications and training at Charing Cross Hospital London. In 2011 she attained her fellowship and became a Fellow of the College of Podiatric Surgeons UK and a Fellow of the Australian Association of Podiatric Surgeons.
Maree continued her surgical work while also lecturing and training surgical trainees in the UK, and achieved the status of Consultant Surgeon. Today, Maree is a university lecturer and continues to perform surgery from her private practice in Sydney. Meanwhile, Maree has maintained and updated her skills in the ever-changing cosmetic industry. She is highly skilled in cosmetic injectables and laser therapy, whilst also working closely with Dr George performing cosmetic surgical procedures.
She attends conferences both here in Australia and internationally. She has a personal interest in the latest regenerative injection therapy and performs this with both ultrasound and x-ray guidance for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes. Regenerative medicine has proven to be effective in both the cosmetic and medical fields.
