Skin Treatments

The Procedure

Microdermabrasion, Microhydrabrasion, SkinPen microneedling and mesotherapy with skin boosters are skin renewal treatments designed to improve skin texture, tone and overall appearance. These procedures are performed in clinic by a qualified practitioner and may be suitable for individuals seeking to address a range of skin concerns, from uneven texture, congestion and acne scarring to fine lines, dehydration and dullness.

Your practitioner will recommend the most appropriate treatment, or combination of treatments, based on your skin concerns and individual circumstances during consultation.

In accordance with Australian regulations, specific treatment details and active ingredients will be discussed during your consultation.

  • Results: Individual outcomes vary and will be discussed with your practitioner during consultation.
  • Downtime: Most people experience minimal downtime and can generally resume normal daily activities shortly after treatment. Some mild redness or sensitivity may be experienced for a short period following treatment.
  • Discomfort: Sensations vary between individuals. Depending on the treatment, a topical anaesthetic may be applied prior to treatment. Comfort options will be discussed with your practitioner beforehand.

Treatment Options

  • 1. Microdermabrasion & Microhydrabrasion

Non-invasive skin renewal treatments performed using professional medical grade equipment to help exfoliate and resurface the skin.

    • May be considered for uneven texture, mild pigmentation, enlarged pores and early signs of ageing
    • Treatment areas include the face, body and hands
    • Generally well tolerated
  • 2. Mesotherapy with Skin Boosters (including NCTF Boost)

A minimally invasive skin renewal treatment that delivers a combination of active ingredients directly into the skin to support hydration, texture, tone and elasticity.

    • May be considered for early fine lines, crepey or dehydrated skin, and overall dullness
    • NCTF Boost can be used on the face as well as the under eye area
    • Other treatment areas include the neck, décolletage, hands and scalp
    • Downtime is generally minimal, with most patients able to resume normal daily activities shortly after treatment

  • 3. SkinPen Microneedling

An advanced skin needling treatment designed to support collagen remodelling and improve the appearance of the skin.

    • May be considered for wrinkles, fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation or uneven skin tone and texture
    • As SkinPen does not use laser or active ingredients, it may be suitable for a wide range of skin types, including sensitive skin and darker skin tones
    • A topical anaesthetic is applied prior to treatment. Some mild redness or sensitivity may be experienced for a short period following treatment

What To Expect

  • 1. Smoother, Refined Skin Texture

Microdermabrasion may help exfoliate and resurface the skin, supporting a smoother, more refined complexion by assisting in the removal of dull and damaged outer skin cells.

  • 2. Collagen Remodelling & Skin Renewal

SkinPen microneedling uses precision technology to support the skin’s natural collagen remodelling process, which may help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring and overall skin texture over a course of treatments.

  • 3. Deep Skin Hydration

Mesotherapy with skin boosters, including NCTF Boost, delivers active ingredients directly into the skin, helping to restore moisture levels and support a more hydrated, supple complexion on the face and under eye area.

  • 4. Skin Tone, Radiance & Elasticity

These treatments may help support a brighter, more even skin tone. Microdermabrasion may help support improved microcirculation, while mesotherapy with skin boosters may help improve skin elasticity and luminosity and the appearance of crepey or dull-looking skin over a course of treatments.
